The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a program that exists in the broader context of care settings. Humans come to the settings and humans provide the services in the settings, including healthy CACFP meals. Many of the humans in these settings, whether it's staff, providers, or the families themselves, are immigrants.
This year, the Presidential Administration has issued a number of Executive Orders and has since taken actions to make our communities feel fearful and at risk, targeting our immigrant populations.
Here are some resources that might help the communities as we navigate these times. They aren't CACFP-specific, but like we know, CACFP doesn't exist in a vacuum.

If you have or know of other resources you can share with our community members, email me: samantha@cacfproundtable.org. Let's help each other support our communities.
Our next CACFP Roundtable member meeting isn't until 2026 - oh my goodness - but it's not too early to register now and put it on your calendar. Register here and join us on January 28, 2026.
