What’s the difference between Live Deep Dive trainings and On-Demand trainings?

When you join a live training, you can participate in real time, engage with the presenter, and ask questions during the session. Many live events also include access to the recording afterward.
On-Demand trainings are recordings of past Deep Dive sessions, allowing you to learn at your own pace, on your own schedule.

Both formats offer the same high-quality content—the main difference is whether you want the live, interactive experience or the flexibility to watch anytime.

Will I get access to the recording if I can’t attend live?

Yes. All registrants receive one year of access to the full training recording through our platform, along with any available resources and discussion features. You can revisit the content anytime during that period.

What does “access” include after the live training?

Your access includes the full training recording, any available slides or materials, and continued access to the event space, including discussion features and shared resources when available.

Why should I attend live if I get the recording?

After the event, you’ll continue to have one year of access to the full event experience, including the recording, event lobby, and available resources—so you can revisit the training and explore materials at your own pace.

Are certificates or CEUs available?

Participants receive a signed certificate of completion after attending the training.

While we do not directly offer CEUs through accrediting institutions, many participants are able to submit their certificate to their organization or licensing body for credit. We recommend checking with your institution in advance for specific requirements.

What if I can’t attend the full session?

No problem. You’ll have access to the full recording for one year, so you can watch any portion you missed at your convenience.

Yes. RT members receive discounted pricing on live Deep Dive trainings—typically $50 for a 3-hour session (a $25 savings).

How should I register a group?

You’re welcome to register multiple people at once, but each individual attendee must be registered and will receive their own unique passcode to access the Roundtable Deep Dive. Group discounts are not offered for this event. Your registrations directly support our nonprofit mission and help us continue providing high‑quality learning opportunities for the CACFP community. When is the last day to register?

Registration typically closes a few days before each live training.
Our team shifts fully into event support and is unable to add new registrants once the training begins. We recommend registering early to ensure access and allow time to get familiar with the platform.

How will I access the virtual Roundtable Deep Dive?

Accepted Answer

Once registered, you’ll receive an email (about one week before the event) with a link to access the virtual lobby. The Deep Dive is hosted on Zoom Events. If you’re familiar with Zoom meetings or webinars, the experience will feel similar. We recommend testing the lobby early—especially if you work within a government agency or have strict firewalls, as you may need IT approval.

What’s a virtual lobby?

The virtual lobby is your starting point for the Roundtable Deep Dive. You can bookmark sessions, build your personal itinerary, view speaker information, and learn about event sponsors. This is also where you’ll watch live‑streamed sessions and chat with other participants. The lobby opens about two weeks before the event—use this time to explore, set up your profile, and get comfortable navigating the space.

What are the minimum requirements for accessing the virtual lobby?
