If you've been curious about how H.R. 1 (the Big Beautiful Bill Act) might impact the Child and Adult Care Food Program, FRAC is hosting a webinar on Thursday this week. See

below.

H.R. 1 is the bill passed in July that creates major cuts in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid across the nation. This bill, which is in the first stages of implementation, decreases access to SNAP and Medicaid while creating tough decisions for funding state governments' budgets.

Thursday, November 20, 3:00 p.m. Eastern (2:00 p.m. Central, 1:00 p.m. Mountain, 12:00 p.m. Pacific)

While the budget reconciliation law (H.R. 1) passed in July made no direct changes to the child nutrition programs, its historic cuts to SNAP will have far-reaching implications on eligibility for and access to school meals, the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Summer EBT, and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

Join FRAC's webinar for an overview of the potential impacts of H.R. 1 on the child nutrition programs, along with strategies to help safeguard progress in the years to come.

Save the date to join us in Coronado, CA, October 26-28, 2026.
