The CACFP Roundtable is thrilled to welcome three new Directors to our Board, bringing a wealth of experience and CACFP expertise to the CACFP Roundtable. Learn more about their accomplishments and why we are so excited to welcome them to the Roundtable.

LENA HAROUTUNIAN
Lena Haroutunian, MSW, ACSW is a seasoned social services leader with a decade of experience advancing person-centered care across aging and adoption programs. As Program Director and Enhanced Care Management Director at New Sunrise Adult Day Health Center, she oversees multi-disciplinary operations, regulatory compliance, and state reporting, while championing trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. Lena is actively engaged in statewide systems change, serving on committees for CAADS and CalAIM and previously holding board roles with adoption and adult day care associations. Lena holds a Master of Social Work from USC and is a dedicated advocate for equitable, community-rooted services.
VIOLET OQUENDO
Violet Oquendo has worked in the CACFP for over 20 years, mainly as a homes monitor. Now, she oversees compliance and training for the CACFP at Options for Learning for both the home-based and center-based programs. As a long-time member of the CACFP Roundtable, she has previously been involved in presenting at annual conferences and helping to develop the Roundtable's Remote Review Protocol guide during the pandemic. She has also served as a panelist on a CDSS quarterly webinar for best practices on administrative reviews. Her focus is on making sure children in care have access to nutritious meals by supporting providers and site staff on the CACFP with the tools they need to be successful.
JENNIFER SEGNIT
Jennifer Segnit is a seasoned leader, with over 25 years of experience in child development and nonprofit operations. She currently serves as Provider Services and Nutrition Program Manager at CDA, where she oversees program operations and compliance for the Child Care Payment Program, as well as the Nutrition Program. She is passionate about equitable access to nutrition and quality childcare for underserved communities. Jennifer lives in Chula Vista, California, and enjoys road trips with her husband and family vacations to fun new locations.
