Join us for a professional development course designed to grow and refine your leadership skills for your career in community nutrition. The Institute is overseen by leadership faculty and each student will be assigned a CACFP mentor as we work through the modules designed specifically for CACFP professionals seeking to elevate their leadership skills.

Rachel H Rice, PhD
Dr. Rice is an experienced educator and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her faculty role for the CACFP Leadership
Institute. With over two decades of experience in education, Dr. Rice is known for fostering educational excellence and inspiring students in the classroom. She holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from San Diego State University and a PhD in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego.
