Snack Smart for Summer: Simple, Kid‑Approved CACFP Ideas & Garden‑Grown Inspiration
As we prepare for summer, we come together as a community of FCC educators, each of us bringing our lived experience, our creativity, and our commitment to nourishing children well. This session invites us to share ideas, explore fresh and simple CACFP‑approved snack options, and learn from one another. We’ll also lift up the joy of gardening with children: planting seeds, tending small garden spaces, and harvesting what grows. Together, we’ll build a summer season that feels doable, joyful, and rooted in care, connection, and the simple magic of watching children grow food with their own hands.
